In his half-hour interview for the American Comedy Archives at Emerson College, Vin Di Bona talks about his early years, and his first break as a producer/director in Boston. He describes how he ended up producing "America's Funniest Home Videos," and why the show is so widely beloved across the generations. Di Bona also discusses the importance of being acquainted with the business side of Hollywood, and the value of hard work, nepotism and networking and luck in one's career. He speaks of the challenges of being a producer in the television industry. Bill Dana and Jenni Matz conducted the interview on January 19, 2006.
